Dimanche soir 5 Mai 89 Devant m’absenter demains et étant occupé les Mardi, je me mets à votre disposition pour vous accompagner Mercredi à S t Remy. Nous partirions par le train de 8 heures 51, si cela vous convient. Ayant déjà vu M. Peyron, il est convenable que je vous accompagne moi-même. Bien à vous Salles Sunday evening, 5 May 1889 Having to go away tomorrow and being busy on Tuesdays, I place myself at your disposal to accompany you to St-Rémy on Wednesday. We would leave by the 8.51 train, if that suits you. Having already seen Mr Peyron , it is appropriate that I should accompany you myself. Yours truly, Salles Van Gogh and Salles left according to schedule on Wednesday, 8 May 1889 for the asylum of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole in Saint-Rémy.
